    1. On the "Lyrics Training" website, I completed the fill-in-the-blank exercise using the song "Where Dreams Go to Die." It was easy for me because the song is simple to understand.
    2. For my learning process, I need to implement strategies like speaking with others in English, reading documents and articles with technical vocabulary, reading books that I enjoy, and reviewing some grammar topics that I donā€™t fully remember, as well as listening to English-speaking music artists.
    3. In grammar, I went to the "Englishpage" website, specifically the "Modal Verbs" section, since itā€™s a topic that, along with "Conditional Forms," I need to keep practicing. I completed some fill-in-the-blank exercises.
    4. I did a listening activity using the video "Coming Home for Christmas." It was easy to understand and also entertaining.
    5. For this practice, I used the series "Friends" because itā€™s very funny, and the scripts are at an intermediate level. I watched an episode about two friends who got matching tattoos, and then one of them regretted it.
    6. I took a listening test about a story of friends getting to know each other, and afterward, I had to answer some intermediate-level questions. I made a few mistakes.
    7. I listened to a story about Sara, a mother who went shopping for supplies for her home and kids.
    8. Itā€™s an easy-to-use tool, with good avatars, perfect for practicing the pronunciation of complex words.

  2. Hi, mi name is Johao Leandro Zapata.

1.The song I listened to was "The Unforgiven II" by Metallica, and the genres I enjoy the most are rock, hip hop, and rap.

    2. Personally, my biggest difficulty in English is speaking, but in order to improve my speaking skills, I first need to feel comfortable with listening and gaining knowledge of many key words and connectors so that I can express myself fluently in the future.

-I plan to practice with "TED Talks" every weekend to improve my listening and comprehension.

-I will look for activities where the goal is to complete words or sentences through listening.

-In my weekly routine, I usually watch series, movies, and listen to music. From now on, I want to do this in English with subtitles, so I can step out of my comfort zone and force myself to stimulate my English learning.

-I believe I need to search for activities or reading materials related to English grammar rules that I still need to understand and practice. These should include activities with connectors, key words, phrases, etc. All of this will allow me to feel more confident when structuring sentences in my mind.

-I want to stimulate my English learning through my professional career by reading information related to my field in English and learning technical terms that may be found, while also stimulating new knowledge.

    3. I chose the website "englishpage.com/vocabulary/interactivelesson2a.htm" and I find it difficult due to the vast vocabulary with unknown words or words that even have different meanings depending on the context.

4.The video was "Focus on What Matters Most," and I understood most of the words, so I was able to understand a large part of the video.

    5. I watched a segment from the first episode of the series "The Witcher," and it shows a hunter fighting a monster in the water. He was almost drowned but managed to defeat the beast, and that is where the adventure begins.

    6. I used the website "Listen a Minute" and completed the activity on the "Animal Lesson."

    7. I listened to the story about a lost cat, and it was enjoyable because it included a variety of different words, including numbers, ages, abbreviations, etc.

    8. The voice is very clear and easy to understand because it is at a moderate speed, which allows me to feel calm when pronouncing words.

    1. Iā€™m practicing with the song ā€œAct My Ageā€ by One Direction since itā€™s one of my favorites from the bandā€”though honestly, my real favorites are ā€œEnd of the Dayā€ and ā€œHappily.ā€ As for my taste in music, Iā€™d say Iā€™m into anarcho-punk and queer-punk right now (not even sure if that last one is a real genre). My music choices are super based on my mood, so I switch genres and artists randomly.

    2. I checked out the English Grammar Reference page and realized I struggle with telling the grammar rules apart and knowing how to use them right. Iā€™m also thinking of a few ideas to help with my other challenges:
Grammar: Go over a few rules each day with examples and try out some grammar apps.
Vocabulary: Use flashcards to keep up with new words and group similar ones together.
Listening: Start with audio at slower speeds if needed, then work up to normal speed without subtitles.
Reading: Start with easy stuff, focus on main ideas, and do a quick summary after.
    Consistency: Set small weekly goals.

    3. I checked out https://www.englishpage.com, and the use of gerunds and infinitives is pretty confusingā€”especially since the grammar changes depending on the type of subject.

    4. I watched the video "Protests" and felt pretty good about my listening skills; Iā€™m comfortable with English audio.

    5. I watched episode seven of the first season of *Shameless* (U.S.) because honestly, no matter how bad your day is, the Gallaghers always have it worse! Itā€™s my ā€œuncomfortable comfortā€ show. To sum it up: Fionaā€™s stuck taking care of her siblings and Frank, while she has a decent boyfriend who doesnā€™t get her reality, and my favorite character is dealing with a pedophile or groomer (both terms work here).

    6. I picked ā€œI Donā€™t Want to Miss a Thingā€ for a fill-in-the-blanks exercise since it was my song for the dance at my 15th birthday.

    7. The story I listened to was ā€œA Murder-Suicideā€ā€”it sounded a lot like Poeā€™s style but simpler.

    8. Itā€™s a great tool, especially since I tend to sound like Karol G in her first international interviews.
